Ok folks... the (tentative) itinerary is...

1. Fly into La Paz, Bolivia
2. Make our way northwest into Peru by way of Lake Titicaca
3. Stay a few nights in Copacabana, visit Tiwanaku, and eventually catch a boat to Isla del Sol.
4. Stay a night or so on Isla del Sol at Yumani and visit the various archaeological sites.
   
5. Return to Copacabana and continue northwest to Cuzco
6. From Cuzco, catch the train to Aguas Calientes and visit Machu Picchu.
7. Head south to Arequipa on the Peruvian border
   
8. Eventually make our way along the coast to Tacna
9. Cross the southern border into Chile and arrive in Arica
10. Follow the Chilean coast to Iquique then to Calama
11. Cross back into Bolivia to see the salt beds in Uyuni (or Potosi) via train from Calama
    
12. Make our way back to La Paz by way of Potosi, Sucre, Oruro (or Santa Cruz), Cochabamba(?), then finally La Paz
13. Fly home!
